THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME: MALVERN ST JAMES' CHOIR TO PERFORM IN ITALY'S MOST HALLOWED VENUES.

Half term for Malvern St James' Choir promises to be the experience of a lifetime, as they head off to visit and perform, in some of the most famous and hallowed venues in Italy.
The Teatro del Sale and the Duomo in Florence, the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Ancient Pantheon in Rome, are just four of the world famous venues that will offer the girls a unique experience in musical performance, whilst visits to the most famous cultural sites in these two great Italian cities, will fill their every spare moment.
The group, 40 singers in all, will be accompanied by Malvern St James’ Director of Music, Lynne Lindner, herself an accomplished soprano.
She said: “It is vital that we inspire our pupils, teaching them is not enough. Singing Puccini in the Pantheon or Rossini in Teatro del Sale makes the connections for them, and the opportunity to sense the atmosphere in these great places can change lives. We are all very excited at the prospect of performing in these magnificent venues”.
